Photographing lively, beautiful, and funny children is an invigorating way to start the weekend. The daffodils at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia in Athens are in full bloom, and despite forecasted chilly temperatures- the weather was perfect. There are a lot of variables that must align for a successful photography shoot with children – the weather, the child’s mood (or children’s moods!), the light, and of course, having my gear in line. There is nothing more satisfying than when I work hard for a successful shoot, and all that is out of my control orchestrates itself beautifully.
My favorite word at the moment is “catastrophist” – I generally plan for the worst, and hope for the best. It’s really lovely and encouraging when the best, happens.
Spring is absolutely here…!
