Dull, brown, grass is all we get for a winter backdrop in Georgia, making me slightly envious of photographers in more northern climates (although, not really. I would freeze.) The magical, reflective, snowy brilliance that seems synonymous with winter in other places does make beautiful winter photos. This winter has humored us with not one, but two beautiful snows here in Athens, Georgia. And I had the pleasure of playing with my camera in the rare and novel southern snow. My littles and I can’t help but stand at the window and watch the snow fall for hours…we are completely mesmerized. And then I take pictures.
